In recent years there has been resurgence in awareness, recognition and appreciation of he varied Indian art forms. Classical music and dance have come to be greatly cherished and ‘Utsav ‘celebrates this spirit with great zeal.
The repertoire of India’s traditional art forms is inexhaustible and therefore it enjoys a vast scope. Yet a lot remains to be done. ‘Utsav’ strives to create further awareness of these traditional disciplines so that the finer nuances of dance and music come to be appreciated by a wider spectrum of audiences. Seminars on Odissi music is a step in that direction.
